Making its premiere on the Entertainment Scene for 08 was EBONY ENTERTAINMENT run by 2 of London’s most popular revellers come Entrepreneurs Sacha and Shola. They threw the Launch party of Launch parties with Free Entry and a Free bar for all of its 300+ guests. 30 minutes into party and people were already enjoying themselves by dancing to a fine selection of soulful house. Most of the attendees made good use of the industry agents that were there which included representatives from MTV, BBC 1 XTRA, T4 and other established companies. This was clearly an event that crossed all the T’s and dotted all the I’s! The reality was that one person even managed to secure a meeting with a well established media company with a view to a T.V based opportunity which is rumoured to hit screens early in 2009! Believe me, this was just the tip of the iceberg. There were several people in the room who were discovered by modelling agencies and other independent entertainment companies throughout the night as business cards were in constant exchange as was the frequent sight of people’s blackberry as it continues to grow amongst our society.
It seemed as if these young guys clearly had the formula for Great Entertainment and the best part was it was all FREE! They are apparently in the process of producing a project for a top T.V Broadcaster which will be on the verge of exploding here in the U.K. They have also formed an Media Company which will be controlling all of their Events and T.V based projects as well other entertainment based segments as they continue to grow and over-deliver for the public. |
